Ivory and delicately coloured linens and threads in natural, monochromatic or soft, harmonising colour schemes are transformed by fabric-changing effects from the techniques of pulled threadwork, drawn threadwork and three dimensional stitches in relief creating multiple levels from holes to raised work.
Several designs with full instructions will inspire you to create your own interpretations with stitches, colour and techniques resulting perhaps in a textured, imaginary landscape or garden.
A little preparation beforehand will facilitate class time and the week in between allows some to explore and experiment with the techniques.
