Course Outline
This course is intended as a creative journey through canvas embroidery techniques, exploring stitches, experimenting with colour & threads, layering of colour & stitch, and incorporating some mixed media techniques and applied media.

You will be encouraged to study contemporary artists and art styles as a tool to developing your own design ideas. Stitch samples, research ideas & drawings are to be submitted as part of your module assessment.

The course consists of 4 modules.

Each module should be returned to the Guild for assessment by the facilitator.  It is then returned to you with comments and suggestions to enable you to build up a valuable reference tool for further development of your embroidery & design skills.

Enrolments
This course is open to Guild members only.  Enrolled students must maintain financial membership of the Guild for the entire duration of the course.

For more information about this course or to enrol contact the Guild.
