Proficiency: Advanced Technique & Design

Duration 2 years
Attendance Bi-monthly

Course Outline
This course involves intensive, self-directed study.  It is designed to enable a candidate who is already proficient in a technique to demonstrate their ability to work independently at a high level of proficiency in technique & design.  The course can be undertaken in the following techniques:

Applique Patchwork
Canvaswork Pulled Fabric
Counted Thread Quilting
Drawn Thread Surface Stitchery
Machine Embroidery Three-Dimensional Embroidery
Metal Thread Embroidery   Whitework
Needlelace  

Students are required to exhibit their work at the end of the course.

A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to students who successfully complete the course.
