Have you ever read about the need to ‘dress’ your frame correctly and wondered what all the fuss is about?

In this one-day workshop students will learn how to dress a lap frame, if and when binding a hoop is recommended and why embroiderers use tissue paper. A small lap frame and a good quality hoop are necessary for this class along with a small sewing kit. A more detailed list will be available on enrolling. Basic materials for dressing the frame such as calico, string and tissue paper will be provided.

Students who are considering the Metal Thread module in the Contemporary Stitch and Design Certificate Course will find this particularly helpful.
