In this workshop you will learn to master Blackwork stitches, patterns and techniques such as ways of achieving light and shade in your work.

Learning and practising these techniques will be a major part of the workshop.

You will be able, with guidance, to design a piece of work which will be individually yours.

The stitching will be highlighted with metal thread, beads and sequins and we will experiment with paints, all of which will give a modern approach to a very old technique.

Skill Level: Suitable for all levels
