The aim of these workshops is to have all participants making creative decisions about their work and to   produce a work that is unique to them. Mary will encourage participants to give their work a conceptual underpinning. In the first workshop Mary will give a powerpoint presentation showing very recent international contemporary embroidery in textiles, fashion and fine art. Embroidery (or Stitch) informs so much work in these fields.

Mary provides technical and design guidance in these workshops. Participants can embark on one ambitious work that will sustain them for the year or work and complete a couple of smaller pieces. As everyone will be working on an individual basis, the number of    participants in the workshops will be limited to 10.

There are four workshops offered in the year. For    further information, contact Mary on (02) 98581326 or via
