Craft and Quilt Fair 2015

The Embroiderers' Guild NSW had a large display area at the Craft and Quilt Fair at Glebe Island in 2015, we had various themes going:
  • Stitched Circles
  • Embellished Brooch Competition
  • Stitch for Textiles and Fashion
The Stitched circles were a great success, the members threw themselves into making circles, lots of them, about 240 in all!

The Brief was simple, using white background material in a circular hoop and a colour pallette of 12 DMC threads (including a gorgeous fluro) the member could do their own design and use any stitching technique. The members got busy stitching, the result was amazing and a great success at the Craft Fair, you can see just a few of the circles below. Enjoy the variety and be astounded at the beautiful work.

All photographs were taken by Lizette and Peter Campbell (unless otherwise stated).
