About our group:
Grafton Group has been established for about 10 years and currently consists of around 20 friendly and enthusiastic members. People work on whatever they choose at the meetings. The interests of the group are varied, from Stumpwork, Goldwork, and Hardanger to Cross Stitch, Fine Embroidery, Pulled Work, Brazilian, Counted Thread, Madeira, Tatting, Knitting and Beading, to name just some. Many of the members regularly attend workshops at the Guild’s Summer School in Sydney or Koala Conventions in Brisbane and bring back a wealth of information to share. In the school holidays we hold sessions for boys and girls 8 to 18 years (Young Textile and Fibre Group).
