About our group:

Our members have talents in all types of embroidery, needlework & patchwork and many update their skills doing classes at the Guild during the year or at the Summer School, as well as classes at local embroidery shops. Our group meetings often include a talk by a member who has visited a place of interest with a focus on embroidery, either in Australia or overseas or sometimes a talk about a particular person’s embroidery or patchwork. From time to time we have workshops on different styles of embroidery in response to requests by our members. We also visit different groups’ exhibitions and other places of interest relevant to embroidery. Stitchers who are interested to join the Mosman group are welcome to attend two meetings before they actually commit themselves. This proves to be very successful.
