About our group:

We have a friendly and welcoming group. Recently we have grown greatly in numbers and have members of all different experiences and areas of expertise. We participate in workshops a few times each year to learn new skills, but mostly work on our own projects. Many of our members participate in local shows and competitions with great success. We also learn things from each other. It is never a bother to help out a fellow stitcher in need! As well as the conversation, we enjoy morning tea and lunch at the club, providing a great social occasion each meeting. We also undertake tours to other groups exhibitions and shopping trips (unfortunately Tamworth is very lacking in stitching supplies!)

Example of work:

Our group has members who are proficient in many areas. We will showcase their favourite styles shortly.
We were fortunate to receive the travelling tutor from the Guild. We had a great workshop on Creative Canvaswork with Maureen Hazelwood. Most of our members had never tried this discipline before and really enjoyed it. Here are a sample of some of the finished pieces.
