Background
Wendy came originally from the Northern Tablelands before moving south and joining the local Wollongong Embroiderers Group. Wendy’s qualifications from the Embroiderers' Guild NSW Inc include Proficiency Certificate in Counted Thread (1995) and Correspondence Course in Goldwork (2005).
Leading the Wollongong Young Textile & Fibre Group (YTFG) from 1994 until retiring from teaching in 1997, Wendy continues to conduct workshops for children and adults. She particularly enjoys working with children.
Currently a Committee Member of YTFG Distance Club, Wendy has designed Huckaback and Counted Thread lessons for this course, she enjoys the problem solving challenges from creative work.
