Introduction to Embroidery - Information Session

Where:     Event is held at Guild Headquarters at 76 Queen Street, Concord West NSW.

The Introduction to Embroidery Course is a two year course running from February to October each year with eight, five hour classes  usually held on the first Saturday of each month, excluding June.  At the conclusion of each topic, students will be expected to complete samples and a small piece of work to be submitted by the due date. No previous stitching experience required.
  
 Topics to be covered: Surface Stitchery, Counted Thread Work, Pulled Thread Work, Drawn Thread Work, Fine Needlework and Smocking, Colour, Canvas Stitchery, Applique and Metal Thread Embroidery.
  
 A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to students who complete all course requirements. Open to members and non-members.
 Cost: 
 Standard (Non-Members) Price $720.00 per annum
 Members only Price $600.00 per annum
  
 Fees may be paid in 2 instalments with prior arrangement with the Guild.
