Lives Across the Centuries -The Untold Story

Fri 1 June to Tue 26 June 2018  Artist Helen Parsons has created a research based body of work on the poignant history of infant mortality and the creation of new life through technology in the 21st century. It is site-specific art, in that Helen considered the Guild’s new galleries when planning and creating this very new body of work. An interactive work will be hung in Gallery 2. Visitors will be able to touch this work and embroider the work.

Curator for this exhibition is: Mary Brown

Helen will be hosting multiple events at the Gallery throughout the duration of her exhibition. All proceeds from events/workshops will be entirely donated to the Embroiderers Guild Furniture Fund. Booking is required email or phone 02 9743 2501 

Friday 1 June 6-8pm
Exhibition Opening - Mary Brown will officially open the exhibition. Drinks and nibbles will be served. No fee. All are welcome!
