About Our Group

At regular meetings we work on our own projects. Three times a year we have a group project where we all work on the same project and help each other with any difficulties that may arise. Sometimes members travel to Grafton to share in workshops, fellowship etc. with that group.

Exhibitions

The Coffs Harbour Group of the Embroiderers' Guild NSW recently held a very successful 2 day Exhibition of members' works at the Coffs Harbour Botanic Gardens.

Seventeen members exhibited a variety of work including pictures, tablecloths, cushions, child’s jackets, temari balls, biscornu, beaded dolls and samplers.

Styles of embroidery included Cross Stitch, Brazilian, Gold work, Thread Painting, Stump work, Long and Short Stitch, Hardangar, Sashiko, Schwahm, Hedebo and Reticella.

Almost two hundred people attended the Exhibition in most cases spending over an hour looking at the Exhibition, including the men.
