About our group:

Our group comprises about 40 friendly embroiderers with talents in most areas of embroidery, quilting, needlework and stitching of all sorts.  Many constantly update their skills with classes at the Summer School and at local embroidery shops, and share their expertise willingly.

Occasionally we have a talk by a member who has visited a place of interest with a focus on embroidery or who has expertise in an area of interest to members. We have workshops in response to member’s requests, with a visiting tutor or with one of our talented members.

We visit exhibitions from time to time and hold our own exhibition every few years.
We welcome new members and suggest they come three times before committing to our group.
