Background
I have been stitching for many years but since joining the Guild in 1995, I have not looked back, honing my skills by enrolling in many workshops and correspondence courses which I could do whilst working. It was when I discovered the Goldwork course that I knew I had found my passion. Since then I have also completed the Advanced Techniques Course and the Proficiency Certificate in Metal Thread, becoming accredited in the technique in 2011.

In 2013 I participated in a group exhibition of work at Timeless Textiles Gallery in Newcastle and in November 2013 I collaborated on a small commission for 'The Water Diviner' currently being filmed in Sydney by WD Pty Ltd.

Over the years I have taught many different techniques and love seeing the enjoyment of students as they create a beautiful piece of embroidery.

More recently, in November 2016, I received my Judges Accreditation.
